Mt. Katahdin

Good Morning ! So we just got back from the hike,it was awesome. We arrived at the gate at 4:15AM and we were the last car they would allow in that section of the park (45 car maximum), so we were pretty psyched. The knife Edge was amazing a little sketchy in some parts, but so Beautiful.Knife EdgeA few hikers that were just behind us on Knife Edge .

All I can tell you is, if you ever get the chance, hike it!

3 AM just alittle early !!

So I am getting up tomorrow morning at 3:00am to hike Mt. Katahdin and I can't wait!! It is probably one of the most beautiful hikes I have ever been on. I hiked about 2 years ago and all I can say is "WOW". This time though I'm going on a more challenging trail, it is called Knife Edge and from what I've heard the name is extremely accurate. In some places it is about 4 feet wide and 1500 foot drops on either side so this may be my last post :) Anyway, these are a few photos from tonight at Abol Pond looking up at Katahdin, enjoy. I can't believe, that some of the trees they are already changing color !!

This guy was fly fishing and it was really peaceful watching him catch a few fish.

We had a really great time with Leslie and Jason, but we've had so much rain here , we were worried what the day would turn out like . There were a few sprinkles in the morning but by the afternoon it was perfect. The wedding was great ! Their family was fun to be with and the Alerin Barn made for a beautiful reception. Abandoned Blog :(

Don't worry! We haven't disappear off the face of earth, even though it might seem so.  Our days seem to be getting a little more busy than usual.  For today's post we decided to put a few pictures of baby O.  And yesterday we had the opportunity of shooting a beautiful wedding.  You'll get to see it in just a few days.
